SYNOPSIS
DOLORES tells the story of a Scottish woman returning to Argentina after her sister’s death to take care of her eight-year-old nephew, but also attracted by the platonic love of her brother-in-law Jack. This love unfolds in the context of World War II, where the echoes of the war are getting closer and closer and the global dispute between Germans and English is becoming personal when a German descendant Octavio Brandt who, far from being the enemy, seduces Dolores and becomes an unexpected love for her, who now needs to decide between two loves.

With a degree in cinema from the AFI (American Film Institute), he is the director of the Argentinian feature films Destino Anunciado, Um dia na Constituição, Era uma vez um trem, A partir de Átomos, as well as the British feature film Quebrando o Ciclo. Also known for his documentary series El Diablo de Cumaná, Pintor Campesino and El Rey del Bandolín, he has won over 20 awards in Latin America, including: Best Series, Best Director, Best Film and Best Documentary. He was also awarded at the Réel Festival of the Pompidou Centre in Paris and Honorable Mention at the Leipzig Festival.
